Cara and Derek’s big day was nothing short of amazing! We were a little worried, as the forecast was calling for rain all week, but when Saturday came around, it was nothing but warm weather and perfect cloudy sunshine! A beautiful bouquet, sparkly jewelry and a lace-sleeved dress accompanied the gorgeous bride as she prepped for the day she’d always dreamed of.
Huge smiles and happy tears filled the ceremony site as Cara’s dad walked her down the aisle to meet her soon to be hubby! As Cara’s cousins sang and played their guitar in the background, the newlyweds said their “I Do’s” and shared their first kiss as husband and wife!
After the bride and groom portraits, which holy moly, I think are my new favorites, we headed to the reception to enjoy dinner and a chocolate fountain (which I think every wedding should have, by the way) before the new Mr. and Mrs. ran through a sparkler exit to enjoy their first night as a married couple!
I’m so glad I got to be a part of Cara & Derek’s big day!! I had a smile on my face all day long just watching these two interact with each other. There’s no doubt that they’re meant to be!! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Aeschliman!
